Here’s a work out post; I hope that everyone get’s some motivation from it!
I have been keeping a pretty consistent schedule with going to the gym for the past three weeks! I am very proud of myself, since school has started my cousin and I have been going to the gym together in the morning.
What I have been doing is going at least three times a week, sometimes I go four. I am still fairly new to this working out stuff, so there are specific muscles I don’t know how to work out, or I don’t know how to use a machine. So I stick to what I know, at the moment I just know of legs, arms & abs. I do them all on separate days, with one day being cardio & abs. My boyfriend has introduced me to working out my back muscles, so I am going to incorporate that into a work out day.
I will elaborate more on what I do once I get an actual routine down, right now my legs are much stronger than my arms. I have to keep track of how much I use for weights for each work out because at the moment I try to remember but it’s not working out too well. I have been using the pump up app. It’s essentially like Instagram, but for fitness. It’s a great motivational app, you can see peoples transformations and what they eat and such. I am going to try and upload a photo each time I work out. I really should upload my work out so then I won’t have to remember the next week what I did for each muscle group. I am trying to start eating healthy again, eliminating my sugar intake. It’s really hard to because I don’t grocery shop for myself and I don’t live alone. So it’s going to be a little difficult, when others make dinner I eat what they eat, but whatever I can avoid I am going to try to do. When my boyfriend and I did this towards the end of spring semester, I felt good. I wasn’t as tired and feeling cruddy. I also need to lose some belly fat, since I am working my muscles I have to balance it out with eating healthy or I am just building muscle over my fat. It won’t change much if I don’t eat healthier. I think I will make a food post (kind of like a food diary) later. For now, I am just going to leave it at that.
